GALLEON WARS

As part of the Piracy Punks ecosystem, Galleon Wars gives you the opportunity to battle your Piracy Punk against other rival pirate factions in solo and team challenges to win prizes including ETH, pirate upgrades, enhanced attributes and treasure chest NFTs every month.

MONTHLY BATTLES

All Piracy Punk NFTs can be submitted into the monthly battles. All participants are then sorted at random into 4 rival factions, each with their own galleon. The factions form an alliance for the duration of the battle window and can name their pirate crew, their galleon and choose their own pirate flag.

DUELLING SYSTEM

These pirate duels are fought based on the properties, levels & stats that each pirate holds within their NFT metadata. Each round is decided by our game system using a verifiably random method and each round of battles is based around one of the stats that the pirate holds: Ferocity, Plunder, Sea Legs or Shanty.

UPGRADES

As each pirate progresses through the rounds, they are awarded XP for battle experience. That XP can be used to purchase pirate upgrades at the end of the battle window, to enhance your pirate in real time, and you will see the upgrades added to your NFT. XP can also be used to trade for Treasure Chests at the end of the battle window, in the Quartermaster’s Store. Here you can trade for additional Rations, Skills & Attributes that will be added to your Piracy Punk NFT and these will strengthen your pirate for the next round of battles.

Of course the stronger your pirate, the higher their value on the secondary markets too. The more you battle, the stronger you become, the more upgrades you earn, the higher the value of your NFT in the marketplace. These upgrades will be added to your Piracy Punk NFTs at the end of each battle window, ready for the commencement of the next round!

PRIZES

All players who reach the quarter finals and beyond will be awarded prizes from the monthly rewards pot, consisting of WETH, $DOUBS & $COMPASS, as well as unique prize NFTs that will enhance your Piracy Punks permanently including treasure chests and weapons. There will also be group prizes for the winning faction each month to share between the crew.
