THE PIRATES
PUNKS
10,000 Pirates, based on the original Cryptopunks. We have taken their punk attributes and imbued them with a lick of Pirate flair. There are 10,000 Piracy Punks in total and like the original Cryptopunks, there are Male, Female, Ape, Alien & Zombie Pirates in the collection
RARITY
The Male Pirates are the least rare, and of course the Aliens the most rare.
The Pirates all have headgear, eyepatch, jewellery, parrot and other Pirate paraphernalia of varying degrees of rarity, as well as many of their original rarities from their Cryptopunk genes such as hair, lipstick, eye shadow and beards.
Rarity will play a factor in yields and rewards by the end of Phase 3. The rarer, the better!
ATTRIBUTES
Pirates can all have up to 12 Attributes within their 'Stats'.
Attribute count includes appearance elements, such as eyepatch, hat, parrot, hair, lipstick, as well as their jewellery, weapons, rank and skills. The more Attributes your pirate has, the stronger they will be in battle. Attributes can be earned as the progress of the game goes on.
LEVELS
Each Pirate has a number of ‘levels’ randomly allocated: Ferocity, Plunder, Sea Legs, & Shanty. These levels will help them battle other Pirates in Galleon Wars and can be boosted with NFTs minted in the earlier stages of the game. Pirates will also gain XP as they play, to give them access to unique areas and rewards as they progress.
UPGRADES
The Pirates will all be able to earn or buy upgrades and augmentations once the game launches. Using the $DOUBLOONS ($DOUBS) token, you will be able to augment them with weapons, enhance their attributes, or amplify their strengths with upgraded stats. The ability to be able to upgrade your Pirates will have to be won in battle, and then paid for in $DOUBS.
