GAME ECONOMY
Players can enter the Piracy Punks economy in two ways:
1) They hold a Piracy Punk NFT to earn $DOUBS or 2) They buy $DOUBS on Uniswap / Sushi
PIRACY PUNK HOLDERS
Stake your Piracy Punk & Rum Rations tokens to earn $DOUBS
Lock some of your $DOUBS to receive $veDOUBS and claim $ETH dividends and $COMPASS tokens
Use some of your $DOUBS to buy Gems and mint Gem NFTs. Gems can be sold on secondary markets, or used to craft weapons & jewellery
Use your $DOUBS to buy Gold Ore & Iron Ore
Take your Ore to the Blacksmith where they will grade your ore and turn it into Ingots of Gold or Steel
Use your Steel Ingots and Gems to craft weapons, and pay the Blacksmith in $COMPASS
Use your Gold Ingots and Gems to craft jewellery, and pay the Jeweller in $COMPASS
Equip your Pirates with your newly minted Weapon & Jewellery NFTs to boost their $COMPASS & $DOUBS income.
Weapons & Jewellery come in 5 different rarities from Common to Legendary based on the quality and rarity of the materials used. Each item comes with an XP score and the higher the score, the higher the earnings boost your Pirate will receive
Boost the earnings of all your Pirates by equipping them with the five items they require to enter Galleon Wars: A Ring, Brooch & Necklace from the Jeweller. A Dagger & a Cutlass from the Blacksmith.
Once your Pirate has all 5 items equipped, he will be promoted to the rank of Bosun. The Gen 1 Piracy Punk NFT will be burned, and a new Gen 2 NFT is minted, with the ability to recruit (or breed) new Pirates, build a crew and fight in the Galleon Wars!
NON PIRACY PUNK HOLDERS
Players don't have to hold Piracy Punk NFTs to play, they can purchase $DOUBS via AMM, and use $DOUBS to buy gems and metals & to craft weapons jewellery. Each NFT they craft can be staked to earn them $DOUBS, and they can lock those $DOUBS to receive $veDOUBS, $COMPASS & $ETH dividends
INCOME
Piracy Punk NFTs can earn $DOUBS and $COMPASS tokens, as well as dividends paid monthly from secondary market NFT royalties
All NFTs generated can be sold on the secondary markets
$DOUBS and $COMPASS can be traded via AMMs
$veDOUBS holders also receive income from sell taxes applied to those who sell their $DOUBS tokens
TAXES
A 10% exit tax is applied to all $DOUBS sell transactions, and those tokens are transferred to holders of $veDOUBS to claim each day
