THE NFTs
PIRACY PUNKS
There will be an initial release of 10,000 Piracy Punks NFTs. Each of these can be staked on the dashboard to earn $DOUBLOON tokens, claimable on a daily basis. In order to play the Galleon Wars game, you must hold at least 1 Piracy Punk NFT.
RUM RATIONS
Rum Rations are an essential piece of the Pirates’ arsenal and each Rum Rations NFT, once staked, will also yield $DOUBS tokens on a daily basis. The higher the number of rations within the token, the higher the daily yield. Rum Ration NFTs are free to claim for all holders of a Piracy Punk NFT on a first come first served basis. The sooner you mint your Pirate, the higher rating your Rum Rations token will be, and the higher its yield.
GEMS POUCHES & GEMS
Gems are essential in the Piracy Punk ecosystem. They are required to craft all weapons and jewellery, and without them your Pirate cannot enter the Galleon Wars arena.
Gem Pouches are first purchased with $DOUBS and a Gem Pouch NFT is minted to the holder's wallet. The contents of the Gem Pouch however are unknown until the pouch is opened.
To open the pouch you must take the pouch to the jeweller and pay a small appraisal fee in $COMPASS tokens. Once the fee is paid, the appraisal takes place: the Gem Pouch NFT is burned and the holder receives 3 gems, randomly allocated by VRF.
There are 5 gems of varying rarities, and each gem can be found in 3 different grades:
TOPAZ - Legendary
EMERALD - Ultra Rare
SAPPHIRE - Rare
AGATE - Uncommon
QUARTZ - Common
The higher the rarity and grade of gems that you use to craft your weapons and jewellery, the more value those items will have. The rarest gems and metals will craft the most durable Weapons and Jewellery. They will be the strongest and most valuable, earning higher boosts for longer periods of time, and will have the highest value on secondary markets.
The most rare gems are Flawless Topaz, the most common are Opaque Agate
Users can mint gem pouches & gems without holding a Piracy Punk NFT
GOLD
There are various types of Weapons & Pirate jewellery NFTs that can be crafted in game, once the base materials have been bought. These are Booster NFTs that players can mint to gain yield boosts. These Boosters have a limited longevity, and the higher quality gems and metals you use when crafting, the higher the boost and the longer lifespan on the boost. Each Pirate in your crew will need to be equipped with weapons and jewellery before they can battle in Galleon Wars.
STEEL
Steel is used to craft weapons for your Pirates, namely daggers and cutlasses
BONUS NFTS
There are also a number of Bonus NFTs to be won throughout the game, including Treasure Chests, Pirate Ships, and other mysterious NFTs to discover. Each of them will have different abilities. Want to Captain your own ship? You’ll need the Frigate Captain token. Want to find buried treasure? You’ll need the Genesis Chest NFT.
